The team reserved upgrade capacity across three dimensions: structural loads exceeding current requirements, eave height raised to 16 m, and standard modular column grids, with expansion interfaces reserved for envelope and utility systems. The minimal initial steel increase avoids costly future shutdowns for retrofitting, establishing a life-cycle cost optimization benchmark for Derun Heavy Steel in the machinery manufacturing sector.
